Ali Akkuş​

Managing Director

​With over 15 years of experience in engineering and project management, Ali leads the strategic direction of Oilwell Dynamics.

​​

Ali Akkus graduated from Middle East Technical University in 2010 with a degree in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering and has over 15 years of experience in the oil and gas sector. He has worked extensively in onshore and offshore drilling operations, project management, and advanced well designs.

​​

Ali began his career at Arar Oil & Gas Inc. in 2010 before joining Turkish Petroleum (TP) in 2011, where he contributed to HPHT wells, jack up and ultra-deepwater campaigns, and unconventional drilling projects. Between 2018 and 2022, he supervised offshore operations in the Marmara Sea, Black Sea and East Mediterranean, utilizing technologies like MPD and smart completions.

In 2022, Ali expanded his international experience with roles in Kazakhstan and Indonesia, supervising deepwater exploration activities. In 2024, he co-founded Oilwell Dynamics to provide innovative consultancy, digital solutions, and engineering services in the oil, gas, and geothermal sectors.

Doğuhan Yilmaz​

Engineering Lead

Doguhan Yilmaz oversees well engineering processes with over 14 years of experience in drilling operations, completions, and well planning.

​​

He has served as a Drilling Supervisor in Turkiye and a Completions Supervisor in Azerbaijan, successfully managing operations in diverse and challenging environments.

​​

In addition to his operational expertise, he also has extensive experience in drilling engineering, having worked with Turkish Petroleum in Turkiye and with Halliburton on projects in South Iraq and Ukraine. During his tenure at Turkish Petroleum, he also held the role of Well Planning Department Manager, where he led the development of detailed drilling programs and supervised the planning of high-stakes projects. He held Senior Drilling Engineer position in Halliburton Ukraine in a sidetrack project, and he was in Lead Drilling Engineer position in South Iraq for BP and ENI projects with Halliburton.

Doguhan’s experience includes navigating challenging drilling environments with issues such as hole stability, stuck pipe incidents, circulation losses, and performance inefficiencies. He is highly skilled in preparing detailed drilling programs that address risks and uncertainties, conducting well time analysis, performing risk assessments, and evaluating drilling performance.

​

Holding a Master’s degree in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering from Louisiana State University, Doguhan brings a strong track record in both field and office settings. He combines technical expertise with leadership skills to deliver safe, efficient, and innovative solutions for drilling operations.

Mehmet Fatih Oguz​

Business Development

 

​Mehmet Fatih OGUZ graduated from Istanbul Technical University in 2008 with a degree in Petroleum Engineering.

 

He began his professional career in 2010 at Viking International Ltd. Between 2011 and 2021, he worked at Turkish Petroleum Corporation (TPAO), contributing to onshore operations and international projects in countries such as Afghanistan, Sudan, and Iraq. In 2012, he pursued an MBA in the United States, enhancing his expertise in business management and leadership.

 

​From 2021 to 2023, he served as the Sales Manager for Weatherford Turkiye, focusing on product and service sales as well as business development activities for oil, gas, and geothermal companies in Turkiye.

 

Between 2023 and 2025, he worked in Kuwait Oil Company’s deep well drilling unit, actively participating in field operations.

 

​As of 2024, he is focused on expanding Oilwell Dynamics’ presence, fostering global partnerships, and continuing his professional journey as the Business Development Manager.
